Duty of Driver Involved in a Motor Vehicle Collision
Under Section 69(1) of the Traffic Safety Act, if you are involved in a motor vehicle collision on the highway, your responsibilities are:
- Remain at the scene of the collision unless otherwise informed by police.
- Render all reasonable assistance if required.
- Provide and exchange the following documentation personally or written to the other party involved in the collision:
