July 22, 2010: For the first time in over 10 years, Medicine Hat Police Service marked patrol cars are sporting a new look! The last time the decaling of the Service vehicles was changed was in 1999 to celebrate the Service's centennial. In late 2009, three new designs were put forward to the current and retired staff of the Service, along with the option of staying with the current design, and the decision made was that it was time to update the look. The chosen design reflects a distinct Medicine Hat identity and today, the first two fleet vehicles to display the new decals are out the on road.
